Munich's Bayern team has successfully begun the UEFA Champions League quarterfinal stage.
Representatives of the Bundesliga triumphed 2:1 against Madrid's Real club on the road.
The guests scored first in the match when, in the 41st minute, they launched a flawless attack. Luis Díaz, after a pass from Serge Gnabry, found himself one-on-one with Andriy Lunin and directed the ball into the net (1:0).
The second half started excellently for the guests – they took possession of the ball and an unmarked Harry Kane doubled the score with a long-range shot – 2:0.
In the 74th minute, Real sparked hope of at least pulling off a draw when, after a quick attack, Kylian Mbappé reduced the deficit.
