Celtic fires new coach after 8 matches

After moving from the MLS to Scotland, Wilfried Nancy didn't stay long.

Glasgow Celtic announced that they parted ways with the French specialist after just 8 matches.

In the first 8 matches under the Frenchman, the Glasgow club lost a staggering 6 times. The last defeat was particularly painful – 1:3 against Rangers in the legendary Glasgow derby.

After 20 matches, Celtic has collected 38 points in the Scottish league. Rangers also have the same number of points, having undergone changes in their coaching staff as well. With 44 points, the Hearts club is still in the lead.
