The long-awaited moment has arrived.

After almost a decade of friendship, Cristiano Ronaldo proposed to his sweetheart Georgina Rodriguez. The model, who holds both Argentine and Spanish passports, announced this on the social media platform Instagram.

C. Ronaldo and G. Rodriguez have been together since 2016.

In 2017, their first child together was born via surrogacy. After 5 years, two more children were supposed to be born, but during a miscarriage, a little boy lost his life, while the girl survived.

C. Ronaldo has stated that he will propose when he feels the time is right.
