C. Eriksen criticized R. Amorim

Christian Eriksen left Manchester United as a free agent last summer after three seasons with the club.

The experienced Dane had the opportunity to work with the team now led by Ruben Amorim last season, who has publicly stated multiple times that last season's Man Utd team was probably the worst in the club's history.

However, C. Eriksen believes that such comments in the public sphere were unnecessary and only created additional pressure on the team.

"Such comments certainly didn’t help. There are things that can be talked about within the club, but shouldn’t be said publicly. It creates additional pressure on players who are really trying to do everything for the club.

I’m not saying the coach was right or wrong, but such comments just created pressure and allowed journalists to create headlines about us,” C. Eriksen stated in an interview with The Sunday Times.
