Despite this, head coach Carlo Ancelotti confirmed that this winger will remain with the national team in any case:

"We hope that Neymar will be ready for the first match against Morocco or any other encounter.

We will not change any players – these are the selected players and I will not change the plan, so all 26 players will be ready for this tournament.”

The World Cup will take place from June 11 to July 19.

The Brazilians will face the teams of Morocco, Haiti, and Scotland in one group.
