Sevilla's "Betis" fans should not expect to see last season's hero Antony in the team's ranks.

The "La Liga" club decided to respond to the latest rumors that the striker has real chances to become a member of the Spanish team in August.

A deal has not been reached and we have withdrawn from further negotiations regarding the player.

This was determined by financial conditions - "Betis" cannot transfer such a transfer fee, nor can they match the salary paid to the player by the English club," the Spaniards stated.
