The Munich "Bayern" club will soon extend the contract with its defender.

As reported by journalist Fabrizio Romano, the Bavarians have reached a verbal agreement with Dayot Upamecano.

The Frenchman has agreed on the salary and the duration of the new contract.

The buyout amount for D. Upamecano will be 60 million euros.

27-year-old Dayot Upamecano has been playing for "Bayern" since 2021 and has scored 6 goals in 173 matches.

In this season, the defender has found the net once in 21 matches.
