During the last decade, football portals have repeatedly boasted about the "new Lionel Messi" growing in the "Barcelona" academy.

Although their predictions have not yet come true, the club's fans continue to hold onto hope.

This time their optimism was sparked by the shining Hugo Galdeano in the U12 team.

The 11-year-old talent shone at the recently held first world U12 club championship, where he competed against peers from Spain, England, France, Brazil, and China.

Small in stature, H. Galdeano not only bravely fought against much larger opponents but also created opportunities for his teammates.
