Barcelona midfielder Pedri said: "UEFA should take a look at the whole refereeing situation. There were many things I didn't understand."

After the match, Hansi Flick also commented on the referees. However, his response was somewhat more restrained.

"I don't want to talk too much about the referee, but I think every 50/50 decision went in favor of the Inter team," stated the coach of the Catalan club.
