According to "Diario Sport," the reason is simple.

The press reports that the Catalans had previously warned their team strategist Hansi Flick not to engage in verbal battles with Real Madrid representative Jose Mourinho.

The latter specialist was known for his scandalous press conferences from 2010 to 2013 when he first managed Real.

Flick listened to such advice and, prior to the match with Elche, firmly told journalists that he was not going to talk about Real in advance.
