The 32nd round of the Lithuanian Football A League, supported by "TOPsport," began in the city of Saulė. The FA "Šiauliai" did not please their fans – at home, they had to acknowledge the superiority of Gargždai "Banga" with a score of 1:3 (0:0).

In the opening minutes, both teams exchanged shots – Ignas Venckus headed the ball inaccurately, and after a pass attempt from Eligijus Jankauskas, Karolis Žebrauskas had a chance, but Mantas Bertašius saved the team, and later he also defended against E. Jankauskas's long-range attempt.

In the 17th minute, Marko Mandičius made a mistake and failed to clear the ball; I. Venckus, who could have taken advantage, missed the target from very close range. However, the forward found the net in the 57th minute when Rokas Filipavičius sent the ball into the penalty area, and I. Venckus capitalized on Vyto Gašpuitis's poor touch.

In the 64th minute, the Gargždai team doubled their lead when Aaron Olugbogi sent the bouncing ball into the net with a single touch from mid-air. K. Žebrauskas was at the forefront of the attack but found himself in a peripheral position in a good situation, while Vaidas Magdušauskas did not hit the ball as he would have liked.

As the match approached its conclusion, the visiting goalkeeper saved a powerful long-range attempt from Nikita Komissarov, and Gabriel Micevičius's header from close range went straight to M. Bertašius.

During added time, both teams exchanged goals – G. Micevičius found the net for the Sun City team, but in the next moment, Sherwin Seedorf, who sprinted for a quick attack, was accurate and sealed the match.

After this match, "Banga" ranks eighth with 37 points, while the Šiauliai team has 50 points in their account; however, their goal of catching up to the third position is currently slipping out of reach.
