With an impressive style and a victorious rhythm, the "Banga" from Gargždai returned to the Lithuanian Football A League supported by "TOPsport". In the 26th round match in Alytus, the local DFK "Dainava" was crushed with a score of 5:0 (2:0).

In the first half, the visitors from Gargždai were clearly superior. At one moment during a set piece, Deividas Malžinskas took a very dangerous shot - Airidas Mickevičius saved the team. However, in the 9th minute, the latter had little chance when Ignas Venckus scored after a pass from Akpe Victory.

"Banga" did not reduce their pace: in the 33rd minute, Vaidas Magdušauskas celebrated a goal. The visitors took advantage of their opponent's poor play on their own half - the Gargždai player scored accurately.

The situation only worsened for the Dainaviečiai after the break. In the 50th and 56th minutes, Sherwinas Seedorfas triumphed, and I. Venckus sealed the final score with a goal in the 67th minute.

The Gargždai team marches on with 31 points, while the Alytus club has 15 points and is in 9th place.
