B. Silva pointed fingers at the schedule: it's so unfair © zumapress.com

Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva expressed his frustration with the schedule given to the Manchester team this season.

According to the Portuguese player, London’s Arsenal had more rest after last week’s UEFA Champions League matches, and this was reflected in last weekend's Premier League clash.

"I decided to voice these thoughts only because we didn’t lose. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have opened my mouth."

The reality is that we cannot step into one of the most important matches of the season so differently rested.

Arsenal had five days to recover, while we had only two and a half.

We are unheard, and nothing changes. Looking at the fans, the respect for the clubs, and fair competition, I don’t think it’s fair," Silva stated after the 1-1 draw in the Premier League against Arsenal.
