Denmark's national team head coach Brian Rice did not hide his joy over the victory against North Macedonia and commented on the crucial match for qualification to the World Cup:

"We went into halftime in a good situation and knew we would wear them down if we maintained this pace.

We played with completely new players in defense who did not allow the Macedonians to create any chances.

Christian Nørgaard looked impeccable, although he usually plays in a midfielder position.”

The Denmark national team will meet the Czechs in the decisive match.

The World Cup will take place from June 11 to July 19.
