In the UEFA Champions League - an impressive spectacle at Anfield stadium.

Liverpool fought for their fifth victory this season, and the fifth was achieved in a similarly dramatic fashion. At home, they managed to break Atletico with a score of 3:2 in the Champions League match.

The Reds started the match in a hurricane style. Already in the 6th minute, after goals from Andy Robertson and Mohamed Salah, the hosts led by two goals.

Before the break, Marcos Llorente softened the result, a player who has shone at this stadium before. In the 81st minute, he equalized, and it seemed that he had pulled Atletico to a draw.

In added time, Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk had his say. He scored with a header following a corner.
