London strategist Arsene Wenger says he would like to rent a defender who could replace the injured Thomas Vermaelen.
Due to Achilles tendon injury of the latter, Frenchman is left with only three center-backs in his disposal.
"Renting would probably be the best choice, because why would a team need five center-backs?" - asked Wenger.
He also confirmed that forward Carlos Vela should be loaned to another club this month.
