
The London "Arsenal" team failed to deliver a surprise in the UEFA Champions League semifinal second leg match in Paris.
Mikel Arteta's men lost 1:2 to PSG, who advanced to the decisive match of the tournament. The first leg in London had ended in a narrow defeat for the hosts at 0:1.
At the start of the match, the visitors played more dangerously, and G. Donnarumma had to show his skills after a chaotic moment in the penalty area.
Soon, PSG players began to threaten the opponents' goal. K. Kvaratskhelia hit the crossbar, and in the 27th minute, F. Ruiz scored an unstoppable shot, giving the French team a slender lead – 1:0.
In the 64th minute, B. Saka squandered a chance, and in the 69th minute, Vitinha held his head in his hands after failing to convert a penalty awarded against "Arsenal."
In the 72nd minute, A. Hakimi struck from distance, pinning the London club against the wall – 2:0.
"Arsenal" managed to score a consolation goal – in the 76th minute, B. Saka found the net during a quick counterattack – 2:1.
With this victory, PSG advanced to the tournament final on May 31 in Munich, where they will face the Milan "Inter" club.
