Famous football journalist Fabrizio Romano reported on Thursday that Manchester United has reached an agreement with RB Leipzig for the transfer of Slovenian forward Benjamin Šeško.
It is reported that the 22-year-old player's transfer to the English club will cost €76.5 million as a fixed fee, and with additional bonuses, the total amount could rise to €85 million.
According to sources, Šeško will sign a long-term contract with Man Utd that will last until the summer of 2030. The forward is expected to undergo a medical examination soon, after which he will officially join the ranks of the Red Devils.
It is worth noting that Slovenian talent was also actively pursued by Newcastle United, but Šeško chose to continue his career in Manchester.
In the last season, representing RB Leipzig, the forward scored 21 goals and provided 6 assists in 45 matches across all competitions.
