Lithuanian football fans will soon be able to see an incredible sight.
As reported by lrytas.lt journalist Simona Viltrakytė, the National Stadium rising in Vilnius is beginning to take on significant shapes, almost like yeast rising.
It is reported that work on the piles is currently being completed and the concrete pouring for the foundations is approaching the finish line.
According to "Hanner" board chairman Arvydas Avulis, the installation of the stadium structures will begin in November.
The construction of the arena, which will have 18,000 seats, is currently proceeding according to plan.
