The Madrid "Real" club lost at home to "Manchester City" 1:2 in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday.

After this match, there were more talks about a possible dismissal of "Real" coach Xabi Alonso.

However, after the game, the "Real" players stood by their coach.

"The coach is doing very well. My relationship with him is very good, as is that of most other players," said Jude Bellingham.

"After tougher stretches, we had great conversations. Unfortunately, in the last few matches, we haven't played as we should. However, we are not preparing to capitulate and throw in the towel," added the Englishman.

The goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois also expressed his support for the coach.

"We definitely didn't look at this match as a test for the coach. We wanted to win because we know what situation we are in. We have lost quite a few points in the "La Liga" championship, we are in a good position in the Champions League, but we cannot afford to drop out of the top eight."

"I think today we showed that we are on the coach's side," said T. Courtois.
