Atletico Madrid fans reacted harshly to the team's forward Julian Alvarez's statement.

After Argentina's national team match against Austria (2:0), the player publicly announced that he wants to leave the La Liga team and "fulfill his dream."

Following this news, videos emerged online featuring Atletico fans who didn't hold back their angry words for their former favorite and even burned his jerseys.

According to Madrid team officials, Barca, which has shown interest in J. Alvarez, will still leave empty-handed – a buyout price of 500 million euros has been set.

The most realistic contender to acquire the star for now is said to be London club Arsenal.
