A. Slotas commented on M. Salah's situation and decision to leave him in England: 'I am patient, but not weak' © IMAGO/Sportimage

Arne Slot commented on the decision to leave Mohamed Salah at home and the scandalous interview of the Egyptian.

Before the Champions League match against Inter, the Dutchman said: "Mo Salah has the right to feel how he feels, but if he has the right to speak to the media, we have the right to react. Our reaction is clear – he will not participate in the match.

Usually, I am calm and patient, but that does not mean I am weak.

When a player says such things, we, as a club, have to react. And as we see, he is not here with us."

A. Slot was also asked if M. Salah could have played the last match for Liverpool.

"I can't imagine," the Liverpool coach briefly commented on the situation.
