A. Semenyo: "My teammates and coach helped me adapt"

Manchester City club defeated Leeds United in the English Premier League with a score of 1:0.

The only goal was scored by Antoine Semenyo, who joined the Citizens' team in January.

The footballer commented on his adaptation to another English team under Pep Guardiola's tactics:

"Hard work starts every day in training. The guys have allowed me to adapt very easily and they are trying to utilize my strengths.

Also with the coach, who lets me trust myself, sometimes stay calm, and score goals.

It's all about adaptation. I enjoy the process and play with world-class players, so it all becomes easier for me.”

"It’s not easy to adapt to P. Guardiola’s tactics. I understand how he wants me to look in attacking areas, playing narrower. Of course, it’s not easy.”

26-year-old Antoine Semenyo previously played for Bournemouth from 2023 to 2026 and scored 32 goals in 110 matches.

In the Citizens' squad, the winger has scored 6 times in 11 matches.
