The UEFA Europa League final will take place on Wednesday evening, where two English Premier League clubs – London’s Tottenham and Manchester United – will face off.

In anticipation of the upcoming final, the portal "The Standard" compared Tottenham's strategist Ange Postecoglou's situation to the possibility of becoming a hero or a clown, depending on how this evening's confrontation ends.

The strategist himself reacted sensitively to such a comparison at the press conference.

"No matter how the final ends, I am definitely not and will never be a clown."

"I was very disappointed by the journalist who used such terminology to describe a person who has worked hard for 26 years to find himself in such a situation and to lead a team to the Europa League final," said A. Postecoglou.

The Australian also assured that in the event of a victory in the final, he would like to continue his work at the club.

"I don't think my job at this club is done. This trophy would allow us to take an additional step forward," added the Tottenham strategist.
