In the 22nd round of the „TOPsport A league“, the confrontation took place between Kaunas district's „Hegelmann“ and Vilnius „Riteriai“. The evening in Raudondvaris Stadium went more successfully for the home team, who celebrated victory with a score of 3:0 (1:0).

At the start of the match, the Kaunas district players were the first to threaten the opponents' goal. Artemas Ščedras and Carlosas Duke‘as each made an attempt on Antonio Tuto's goal, but the goalkeeper, performing excellently, saved the team.

After a few more moments, the first goal of the match was scored. The actively playing A. Ščedras and C. Duke‘as combined for an attack, which ended with a precise shot from the Japanese player.

In the 37th minute, Mukasinas Bulatovičius received a great pass during a set piece situation, but he was unable to successfully head the ball into the goal. In the next attack, the Kaunas team responded with an offensive, but the scorer of the first goal, C. Duke‘as, was frustrated as he shot just beside the post.

Just before the break, after a VAR check, a penalty kick was awarded to the Kaunas team, however, Vincentas Šarkauskas was impenetrable and saved Arvydas Novikovas' shot.

As the second half began, Njoya Abdelas Kaderas had a wonderful opportunity to double the lead, but the Cameroonian hit the goalpost.

The 72nd minute was marked by the second goal – Leo Ribeiro, having seemingly easily deceived the opponents, sent the ball into A. Tuto's defended goal. After another 5 minutes, during a set piece, N. Abdelas Kaderas added another goal.

After the victory, the Kaunas district team jumped to second place with 40 points, while the Vilnius team has 14 points and ranks 9th.
