On Monday evening, Madrid's "Real" unexpectedly fell to "Getafe" in the Spanish "La Liga" championship at home and now trails by four points from the first-place "Barcelona" players.
After the match, "Real" coach Alvaro Arbeloa took responsibility for the loss but stated that the fight for the title is not over yet.
"I am responsible for this loss. We cannot make excuses about injuries, as we are Madrid's "Real" and we have enough players. I do not want to look for justifications.
The fight for the title is definitely not over. We have the opportunity to earn another 36 points and we will fight until the end. The difference is only four points; we can catch our rivals.
Now our goal is to win all 36 points. We are not planning to give up. Do not blame the players; this loss is my fault," said A. Arbeloa at the press conference.
