The Europa League winner Ange Postecoglou has lost his second job in 5 months.
After a 0:3 loss to Chelsea, Nottingham Forest's manager Evangelos Marinakis made the decision to dismiss the Greek coach, who replaced Nuno Espirito Santo after the first month of the season.
This happened just 21 minutes after the end of the match.
The club stated, "No further comments will be made at this time," in an official announcement.
Nottingham Forest did not look very bad against Chelsea; they recorded a higher "xG" metric, but in the second half, they conceded three goals.
A. Postecoglou experienced six losses and drew two matches while in charge of Forest.
Nottingham Forest Football Club can confirm that after a series of disappointing results and performances, Ange Postecoglou has been relieved of his duties as head coach with immediate effect.
